Sleeping
For some reason, I love to take pictures of my kids when they are sleeping. I have hundreds of them and still almost every night when I check on them before I go to bed I want to snap a picture of the funny way they are laying. Emma usually with her blankie in her mouth and Jack with his arms up above his head, just like when he was a baby.
What I'm loving Wednesday.
I started this post on Wednesday so forgive that it is actually being posted on Thursday! :)
Google and coffee. I used to use the AOL search engine and I was fine with it. I had no idea what I was missing. Google is a whole other level and I love it. Pair that will coffee and Regis and Kelly. FORPETESAKE! LOVELOVELOVE

The memory of the day we spent waiting for my Dad's heart transplant. The love of my family. It was an amazing day spent playing cards, jokes and laughing until your stomach hurt. BLESSINGS!
I love Regis and Kelly! These two crack me up and I love to drink my coffee with them in the mornings!

i know this
I obsess, I know this. I obsess over things that are totally not important to other people, but a really big deal to me. Since my latest obsession is the kids unorganized/trashy looking room, I have a plan and have set to it. Yesterday and today I listed on craigslist ALL the kids bedding sets that we have collected over the years (from crib to current) we have many, I'm sayin its a sickness. Some women buy shoes, I buy bedding. *now on a side note: if I had just spent the money on the sets I wanted from the get go, we would not be discussing this right now, but I tried to go the cheap route and it bit me in the butt.* Emma and I ran to Walmart today and got 4 tubs to organize the closet space. It took me a little over a hour and it looks so much better!! I am so happy to have that mess cleaned up. Now I just need get some colored bins for the shelf and the closet is complete. Moving on to the bedroom, as soon as I sell all the other sets we have we are starting the room make-over that will consist of new paint, curtains and these new quilts. 
Then I PROMISE I will stop messing with the kids room....I HOPE :/
ps. anyone need any bedding? I have all kinds ;) and they are like new!

Kids room
The kids room haunts my dreams at night. It is a thorn in my side. When I decided to have the kids share a room (honestly the best decision I ever made) I fell in love with this,
I loved how it all went together, gave him his own boy looking side and her own girl looking side. However I didn't think my husband would understand why we needed to buy such expensive bedding for kids and so I set out to find a similar room on the cheap. Until I did, it looked like this,
It was as if I was the only person in the world looking for a brother/sister coordinating room. It was difficult no impossible to find on the cheap. So I settled for this.
It went together and worked, but I never really liked it. So not very much later I sold Emma's set and got her a new pretty quilt, with lots of pink and flowers. I have hated the color of the paint on the walls since the day I put it on. I AM going to repaint that room, just as soon as I can decide what color.....sigh..... I honestly don't know what to do in there. I know it really isn't even a big deal, but it's a big deal to ME. The kids have decided that they want me to paint her half purple and his half dark blue, and call it a day. I am not sure how all that will work out, but the room is all over the place. It is a jumble, unorganized and makes my tummy hurt.
Suggestions please! Something like this...

Phone
I can't believe it's been 2 years since my last phone fiasco. I have used my current phone for the last 2 years and been very happy with it. Now, I know thou shall not covet, but I can not help myself when my husband has the newest and best phone around. I however will continue to have phone envy because the plan including Internet if far more then I want to pay per month. I thought about switching wireless companies for a better deal, but I find that never seems to work out for me. I always end up paying more and disappointed. So I will continue to be in the same category as your Grandma and be the only person you know with out a smart phone. But I am super excited about the awesome rad one I got!! :)

It is no secret I like to re-decorate. I never leave anything the same for long. Since Jeremy and I have been married (7 years) we have had 4 different bedding sets. 2 years ago when I redid the bedroom I purchased a beautiful black and cream damask set. It was simply everything I wanted. I brought it home put it on the bed and was very happy with it....that is until Jeremy came home and announced he didn't like it. :( Fine, I will be nice and take back the set I love and try to find something we can agree on...:( So, this time when I decided we needed new bedding I found the beautiful set I wanted and didn't ask Jeremy if he liked it. I just sold the old stuff on craigslist and put the new set on and I am gloriously happy with it! I love it so so so much and can't believe I let Jeremy talk me out of it before.
It's the simple things in life :)

Beauty Products
I am liking up with LC over at Got Good Love for a product blog. I love knowing what other people use, I am always wanting to try new things but hesitant in case it is yucky! I tend to stick to the same old tried and true products.
In the shower I use Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods body soap and follow it with the lotion and body spray.
I wash my face once a day in the shower with cetaphil cleanser and follow it with the moisturizer. I love this stuff as I have sensitive, dry skin and it really works really well for me.
As for shampoo and conditioner, I really like Redkin products, but I am cheap and I don't like to spend the money for it. And since I am very picky about the way things smell I have to get a shampoo that I can stand to smell all day. I usually end up with Herbal essences products. I love the way they smell and they make my hair look great. I also use the smoothing cream, and the gel and hair spray on curly days. I have never found a hair spray that I love more then the aerosol spray, I.LOVE.IT! And people always comment on how good Em's hair smells ;) its our little beauty secret!
I use almost all Maybelline make up. It is inexpensive and great on my sensitive skin. I do swear by the Mary Kay deep brown eyeliner and the Cover Girl lash blast mascara and will not change those up! But the other stuff, foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, I try new things in the Maybelline and sometimes Cover Girl line but almost always end up back to the same old.
The other major "beauty product" we can not live with out is Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Moisturizer. Poor little Jack has eczema so bad and I have not found anything that works to control it like this does. It is simply the best! It is a little pricey at $7.99 for a 5oz tube, but well worth it when Jack's skin is clear and not hurting him!!
My final "beauty secret" is BABY MAGIC! I simply could not live my life with out this stuff. Just another day in paradise
I love my job. I love being nothing more then a mommy and housewife. I know that the work I do is as important as any other mother no matter how much money she makes. Here is a run down of a day in MY paradise. 
I shop, and drop $80 at Target on nothing but the group you see here.

I let Emma "do it myself" and brace to clean up the mess. Then become gloriously happy when there is no mess!
I clean up a random mess left by "I didn't make that mess"
I buy my sweet sweet boy new shoes, every 2 months because he is growing that fast! These are his newest, size 3.5 (that is a womens size 5.5)
I am unable to resist the begging for the new flip flops in February because they are exactly like the ones I wanted 2 years ago.
I clean up yet another mess.

Whats for supper?
I am known for making recipes up. Things I have in my pantry, mixed with a recipe I find, adjusted to what picky Jack will eat....and I end up throwing something together. I am usually not disappointed... usually ;)
Tonight I looked up a recipe online, found some egg noodles and a jar of spaghetti sauce in the pantry and knew some how I would make this supper. So here ya go my made up casserole:
Brown hamburger, mix with sauce, set aside. Boil noodles in salt water, drain. Pour milk/egg mix over noodles. put noodles in the bottom of a 9x13 pan, shake parm cheese over noodles, pour sauce/meat mix over, top with cheese. Bake at 350 for a while.. idk.. 30 mins :)
I will let you know how it turns out... it can't be that bad... its basically spaghetti....right?

As I said before my favorite books right now are by Jennifer Weiner and her latest book did not disappoint!
