Tonight I went into
Alltel knowing that something had to be done about my phone problems. On the way I am praying God, please let them get me right in, please let my kids behave, please let them fix my phone troubles for no cost to me. Not sure what God has
planned for me but it isn't what I was thinking at all. I go in and the place is packed, I put in my name and they tell me it will be about an hour. I ask if I can leave and they say yes but if we come to you and you are not here you will be skipped over. No problem, the wait is always longer then they say. So I ran to
Walmart to get a few things and picked up my Aunt Sue so she could sit with the kiddos. Get back 45 minutes later and they had skipped me. The wait would be about 25 minutes now. I was pisses and so was Aunt Sue. She went in a loudly told them she was sick of this and they needed to stop jerking me around. Then she came out and got me and both kids and we all waited in there for my name to be called. They said 25 minutes but it was more like 45. When it was our turn we got a very nice rep who told us that my only option was to send it in for a new phone of the
same model. That isn't what I want. The phone is poorly designed and isn't working for me. So my other option is to pay full price for a new phone $250-$500 or break my contract with
Alltel $250 and sign up with
Verizon.
I want none of those! I want them to let me keep my contract which I am very happy with and can afford and get a new phone at the discounted price. But I guess that is to much to ask. The best part is that a manager can over ride the contract if they see fit, but the manager did not and would not do it.
Why do they have to make things so difficult? Do they not realize that they would be getting much more
business if they didn't screw with people?
O-well, if this is the worst of my worries, I am one lucky girl!
To cheer my self up and help me
relax I gave myself a
mani/
pedi. Pink nails always make me feel better :)
Ps. I really like my phone, just wish it would work!
