Wet Wipes

I have always found wet wipes to be very handy. Not just for the normal butt wiping, but for so many other things. You can clean most anything up with a wet wipe. I cleaned my whole couch with wet wipes and it looks great! You have a stain on your shirt? Use a wet wipe, dirty dog? Wet wipe! I am so serious! They are wonderful. Poor Emma hasn't been able to get in the bath tub for the last few weeks since she has her cast, so you guessed it, I wipe her off with wet wipes everyday! When you have a filthy kids from playing outside and no time to take a bath before going somewhere, wipe them down with a wet wipe, they look fresh from the tub and they smell great to! I suggest everyone carry a pack of wipes with you at all times. I do so I am never caught with a mess I can't clean up. I love wet wipes! Not just for wiping butts! : )

These are my favorites!!

Eating
Most of the time my kids are really good eaters. But sometimes they will do anything to get out of eating their dinner. Last night Jack told me that if he ate his spaghetti his stomach would die. I said what? He said yeah, it's not even beating. Like Cassie says, you just can't make this stuff up. Sometimes I feel like I spend more money not feeding my kids then I do feeding them. Wasteful!
Tanning
I am a fake baker. I love it. I like to be tan, because even fat looks better tan. So I went last night for a tan and the cute little 12 year old at the desk sends me back to what I am sure is the only room she had been using all night, it was like a sauna!!!! I was sweating before I got into the bed. 5 minutes into my 10 minute session, I was on FIRE!!! My skin was burning and I was dripping with sweat! GGGGRRRROOOOSSS!! So I had to waist 5 minutes of my session because there was no way in hell I was staying in that bed to finish. Note to the 12 year old girl running the tanning place: stop trying to roast the customers, most of them are fat moms who are hot all the time anyway.
Dogs
My dogs are really sweet but lets face it, they are a pain in the ass sometimes. They have been getting out of the yard every time I let them out. I think I have the hole blocked off and they find a new way out. Annoying! Saturday they got out and Charley came back with a chicken breast in a Ziploc baggie. Where did he find this? Did he dig it out of the trash? Or more likely, did he snatch it right off someones out door table before they got it grilled? Weirdo dog!

The Mess

It follows me. Where ever I go. From room to room, upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside even in the van. I clean, in fact I am always picking up something. So why is there always a mess? I get one room done move to another and come back it looks like a tornado hit. Is it the house? Did it throw up? Or is it the sweet little monsters that live in the house? How can someone so small make such a big mess? I am not sure if they are really only one person or if they multiply when I am not looking. I recently met a mom in my neighborhood who is always telling me how much she loves me because I have stickers on my walls and toys all over the floor. I wish everyone felt that way. One day my nephew Tanner (14) was over and he started picking up toys. I told him he didn't have to do that and his reply was I don't mind this place is a mess! Well, tell me how you really feel! He has 3 brothers you think his house never has toys laying all over? That is when it hit me, the mess follows me. It is my calling in life to clean up toys, clothes, and whatever food misses our mouth and is left laying on the floor. The mess loves me so much it always waits for me to clean it up.

Soccer

Jack had his first soccer game yesterday. Well if you can call it that. 6 4 and 5 year olds running around chasing a ball. Interesting! I always thought Jack was pretty athletic, he has been great at shooting and making a basket for as long as I can remember and is the fastest runner in his preschool class. So signing him up to play sports was a no brainier. He had more fun messing around with another little boy on the team then anything, and didn't seem to care if he played or not. He ran up to me at one point and say when can we go home? HHMMM? Maybe soccer isn't his sport? We'll see! Maybe he just needs a little practice. The highlight of the whole game was the snacks at the end!

Introduction to us

Emma Elaine

Emma is 2. She is a princess but not in the prissy way. She loves babies, Dora and Cinderella. She also loves to run and play with her brother and is always willing to play trucks with him. She takes a beating on a daily basis from him and is beginning to dish it right back. She is sweet and sassy and to smart for her own good. She is a doll and growing up way to fast! I love it when she wants me to wrap her in her blanket and feed her her sippy cup like a bottle. I will hold onto those "baby" things as long as she lets me. : )

Jack Joseph

Jack is 4 but will be 5 is less then 2 very short months. He loves everything about being a boy. He is loud, dirty, brave, and curious. Very curious. He loves cars, monster trucks, trains and spongebob. He makes the best sounds effects I have ever hear and I am sure he will grow up to work in Hollywood as a sound effect person. You can find Jack on any summer day OUTSIDE driving his hummer or swimming. He has a heart of gold and so adorable!

Jeremy and Tori

Jeremy works for CCI as a supervisor. Which means he babysits grown up who act like children all day. He is away from home most of the time and we really miss him. His job is dirty and stressful but he does it for us. He calls it "just another day in paradise"

Tori is a stay at home mom to Jack and Emma and babysitter to Trevor. Which means I am a laundry maid, maid, fixer of all things that the monsters break, chef, poop cleaner, dog groomer, the list could go on and on. I LOVE IT!
So here we are. Life has been interesting for us these last 5 years and they just keep getting better! "WE MAY NOT HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER, BUT TOGETHER WE HAVE IT ALL"

House of sickness

Last Sunday we had my Dad, brother Tadd and Trevor over for burgers. I was happily eating mine when I realized it was raw. We aren't talking a little pink in the middle we are talking still mooing. So I felt a little sick for the rest of the night, but thought it was all in my head. WRONG! I woke up in the night only to become puke-face. Thankfully my parents took the monsters for the day and I was able to staying in bed and feel like I was ran over by a train. A whole day with out the kids!! Not the way I want to spend the next one. Jack has been sick with a cold all week and not feeling like himself, so since we share EVERYTHING in this house (except toys and things we SHOULD share) I began getting the cold like feeling on Friday. Great! Moms don't have time to get sick. Oh but let me tell you the cold has settled in nicely in my chest and is not my friend. Meanwhile Jeremy must have been feeling extremely left out since we were all being visited by the sickness, so he decided to wake up in the night to be puke-face!! SWEET! When Jeremy gets sick, he is really sick and there is not stopping it. SO, in the land of sickness we are all hacking, hobbling, or barking today. Anyone want to come over? : )
